Educational enhancement is an essential tool in creating the bridge to successful humane programs. The Animal Protection League is equipped and positioned to provide the necessary tools to increase knowledge bases, skill level awareness, concerning animal welfare efforts. An ever-growing arsenal of information is available at your fingertips with a database full of informative and educational materials including contributions from our members and our member collaborative meetings. Animal Control Services/ Shelter Support and Education

With over 20 years working experience in a multitude of animal welfare areas, The Animal Protection League, Inc. will evaluate the many facets of your organization and identify the positives and negatives affecting desired goals and work directly with you in taking the steps to attain those goals. On-Site Training
Undertrained staff is one of our industry’s biggest pitfalls; we’ve all received the resume that details the individual’s love of animals, but the closest they ever been to caring for one is they took their aunt’s 12 year old Basset Hound to Show and Tell once in the fourth grade. As the economy ebbs and flows, so does the ability to acquire experienced staff and tight budgets and limited time don’t always allow for an extended training period of those newly hired. All too often, new staff is expected to hit the ground running and hope their caring and love keep them from getting themselves or you frustrated.
