Who We Are

The Animal Protection League, Inc. consists of dedicated individuals, experienced in many facets of animal welfare including veterinary medicine, progressive no-kill sheltering, management, program development, behavioral assessment and modification, grant research and proposal writing, marketing and business development, rescue/foster/volunteer enrichment programs, facility design and maintenance, health and husbandry advancement, event and fundraising coordination, and education.

The Animal Protection League, Inc. was formed in July of 2008 to provide animal care and facilities management services for the one of the local Country’s largest intake animal shelters. The Animal Protection League, Inc. ended the contract after one year with the additional experience, insight and knowledge that has helped to create a more broad vision and mission in order to concentrate efforts on advancing animal welfare efforts in the greater metropolitan area and beyond.

We are a private, non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of individuals and foundations through public donations and grants. We service our community and its animals without individual agendas, political affiliations or aspirations. Our organization operates via a system of transparency, collaboration, and knowledge.
